Background: Teens is the age that are very active, including the encouragement and active sexual
behavior, the environmental influences such as VCD, books/magazines and the internet show the
nuances of pornography, the emergence of the trend of free sex, lack of control of parents in instilling the
value of life the religious and the availability of infrastructure to perform immoral acts makes adolescents
more difficult to make decisions regarding responsible sexual behavior and health.
Objective: Knowing the factors that affecting to the desire sexual intercourse in adolescent learner’s
class I SMA Negeri 1 Bodeh.
Method: The population in this study are all grade 1 learners SMA Negeri 1 Bodeh Year Study
2010/2011 some 217 people, while the sample is taken by 69 students through the draw. Data were
collected using a questionnaire with charging technique through direct interviews. Data analysis using
Result: Factors that affecting to adolescent desire sexual relations can be described: 1) The family
environment does not directly affecting to the young people's sexual desire, however affecting to the
growth and development through adolescence intrinsic factor (p= 0.040<0.05). 2) The school environment
does not affect the growth and development of adolescents intrinsic factor (p= 0.750>0.05) and also had
no effect on the young people's sexual desire (p= 0.379>0.05). 3) The society environment does not
directly affecting to the young people's sexual desire, however affecting the growth and development
through adolescence intrinsic factor (p= 0.010 <0.05). 4) The technology directly affects the power of
young people's sexual desire (p= 0.039<0.05) and also affects the growth and development through
adolescence intrinsic factor (p = 0.008<0.05). 5) Growth and development of intrinsic factors as
intervening variables to give power to young people's sexual desire (p = 0.001 <0.05).
Conclusion: This study concluded that the factors affecting to the adolescent sexual desire power class I
SMA Negeri 1 Bodeh is a family environment, society, and technology, and growth/development of
intrinsic factors as intervening. Only technology that can directly affect the power of adolescent sexual
desire. Meanwhile, the school environment does not affect the power of sexual desire. By knowing these
factors are expected to further strengthen previous studies and can serve as the basis for research in the
